Content Description
A binder containing 977 "Just say no gas here" signatures gathered at the soon-to-be-demolished White Castle short order restaurant at the corner of Bardstown Road and Eastern Parkway in Louisville, Kentucky on December 21-22, 1988, just hours before its final closing. At that time, a large convenience store/gasoline station was slated for the site. "My porcelain past," an 18-minute video by Ron Schildknecht, documents the closing.
