Scrapbook created by Ruth Perkins containing newspaper clippings documenting the Ohio River flood of 1937 in Louisville and surrounding areas. Also included are carbon copies of several letters written by the creator, describing events and her experiences. These are dated February 3 - 9, 1937. There is also a letter from Edna L. in New York, with portions dated February 25 and March 3, 1937. Ruth Perkins lived on Oak Street in Louisville at the time of the flood.
