Part A of this collection is: photographs, color slides, 35mm negatives, 120mm negatives taken by Joseph Kinberger. Subjects include WHAS Crusade for Children, 1959/1960, 1961/1962. Other subjects include Civil War reenactment, the Capital building in Frankfort, Kentucky, The General (Civil War locomotive), 25 slides of parade on Broadway, 22 slides of Mounties in Freedom Hall, Standiford Field 1951, Churchill Downs in 1955. Negatives include 1955 WHAS Crusade for Children, parade on 4th St, Kosair party, Gatchel’s picnic, 1953 boat races, Colgate Building at 4th and Ormsby, and University of Louisville. Part B of this collection is camera equipment stored in the HDS as part of the Camera and photography equipment collection (2019_023). The collection originally included books and journals, which were dispersed into the Photographic Archives reference collection.
