Content Description
Sixteen 8 x 10 inch photographs taken by Theodore P. Eitel (1867-1955), of beech trees and other outdoor scenes, 1912. One scrapbook photo album with approximately 115 snapshots of Louisville areas and some travel images including Buffalo, New York and Niagara Falls, taken in the early 1900s. Two portrait albums (holding 142 cabinet card and carte de visite photographs), largely from Louisville photographic studios with some identification, including many notable people of the German community in Louisville, circa 1870s-1880s. Two glass transparencies of photographs by Eitel. Note: Some books were moved to Rare Books. Other Eitel collections 2007_016 and 1994_02.
