Scope and Contents These are four letterbooks of Archie Monroe Quarrier's letters spanning the years 1891 to 1900 during his tenure as second vice president of the Louisville and Nashville (L & N) Railroad. Most of the letters discuss personal and family matters but some letters especially those to his brother Cushman, who was the L & N's controller, mention railroad business.
