Consists of files from the Law School dean's office, including correspondence, subject files, schedules, information on students and student activities, and annual reports of the Law School. Includes student information including applications, grade averages, and lists of graduates from the Jefferson School of Law, which was absorbed by the University of Louisville's Law School in 1950. This set of records also includes correspondence from several faculty members from the first half of the 1970s.
University records more than 25 years old are generally open; however, some records may be restricted by statute or federal law. Student records are restricted under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and UofL student records policy.
