Consists of two folders from the Office of the President. One folder contains correspondence and other materials from the 1930s relating to the Building Committee. The other holds correspondence pertaining to the Burgess property, from 1943. These files were found among university publications during a shelfread; it is not clear which set of papers, if any, they became estranged from.
