Consists of reference files used in preparation for a series of oral history interviews on the topic of city government reorganization, conducted by Charles Staiger in 1976 and 1977 for the Oral History Center. The government of the City of Louisville was restructured into a cabinet-style system in 1975 under Mayor Harvey Sloane. The files in this collection include information on the Board of Aldermen, newspaper clippings on the reorganization, and organizational charts.
