Content Description
Contains 2 typescripts: "Report of George A. Hendon to President John W. Taylor on Mr. Hendon's visit to the Harper Library, University of Chicago, May 1948," a seven-page typescript detailing information gleaned from the Durrett collection; and Mr. Hendon's "Notes on the founding of University of Louisville, December 30, 1947" (a 28-page typescript). The typescript in folder 3 is titled "History of the University of Louisville," but the text appears to be identical to "Notes on the founding..." This item was also identified as a "stencil" and appears to be a sort of galley proof.
