Consists of material originally held in three binders titled "Library Alumni File," "Library Books - Acquisitions," and "U of L Library Serials." The alumni file contains procedures for updating and maintaining records of alumni and gifts using a punch card system. The other two deal with computer programs and procedures for keeping records of book and serials acquisitions in the era of punch cards. Included are examples of punch cards and conceptual drawings of computer programs.
University records more than 25 years old are generally open; however, some records may be restricted by statute or federal law.
