Includes flyers, setlists, stickers, correspondence, CDs (including recordings of practice and live preformances), 45s, DVDs, stickers, buttons and other materials relating to the Louisville "underground" music scene from the 1990s into the 2000s. Bands/artists represented include VRKTM/Verktum, Hedge, Out, Montag, Rude Weirdo, Speed to Roam, Kinghorse, Freakwater, Kentucky Chrome Revue; Fire in the Saddle; Sean Garrison, and Will Oldham. Dave Bird was a member of several of these bands, including Hedge, Out, Verktum, Speed to Roam, and Sean Garrison and the Five Finger Discount. The Hedge cassette was Bird's first release ever. This collection is part of the Louisville Underground Music Archive (LUMA) project. There are four cassette tapes in the collection: OUT. 1995 release and OUT. 1997 release; Per Mission "Signal to Noise" and an Experimental Pollen/Wino split release from 1997. Also includes Kodan Armada CD "Ohio Killed the Grey Ghost mounted on wood 29/50 limited print.
