Content Description
The newsletter of the University of Louisville's Veterans Association, a student organization founded in November 1944. A statement in the first issue indicates that the group's purpose is to "orient veteran students new to the campus as well as to aid them in acquainting themselves with each and other phases of campus life." They also provided advice on housing, jobs, and study skills, and coordinated social activities. The local organization was part of the larger federation of student veterans' groups, called the State Veterans Association of Colleges; it appears that the UofL group preceded the state-wide organization. Issues: 7-251946, 11-8-1946, 11-22-1946, 12-6-1946, 12-13-1946. The first issue is titled "Vets Association Press."
