Content Description

Bee Johnston's papers, including material relating to a phone service Johnston offered called "Dial a Free Thought," a free thinker's answer to "Dial a Prayer." Also included are some of her writings and political buttons. The buttons are primarily local and/or feminist in nature. Also included are a small grouping of Kate Cunningham's papers. Cunningham's materials include copies of FTA ("Fun Travel Adventure") published by and for soldiers at Fort Knox in the late 1960s, other material opposing the military and the draft, and material relating to the Southern Conference Educational Fund (SCEF).
