University-related transcription disc recordings
Content Description
Three transcription disc recordings. One is a recording of the awarding of honorary degrees to three Supreme Court justices at the Law School's centennial; the other two are "dubs" from a forum on the future of medicine and dentistry, held at the Medical and Dental Schools' commencement (?). John W. Taylor, Elmo Roper, and Geoffrey Parsons are identified on accompanying material, presumably as speakers. The discs' labels indicate they were produced by WHAS; they are all dated 9-22-1947, although other records show that the Supreme Court justices received their honorary degrees on September 19, 1947.
