Fritz Finger was the last brew master for the John F. Oertel Brewing Company, Louisville, which operated from 1892 to 1964. The collection consists of glass plate negatives, prints, including Cirkut panoramic prints, and 35mm slides showing the brewery, its bottling operations, and early use of trucks Oertel's had specially modified for deliveries. In addition to the documentation provided by photographs, the collection includes papers and ephemera which chronicle the company and the Finger family, including F. W. Finger, Fritz's father, who was also an Oertel's brew master.
