Souvenir booklet from the 1909 meeting of the National Negro Business League, held August 18-20, 1909 in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to a description of the program of the convention, the booklet contains ads for local African American businesses, professionals, and organizations. It also includes descriptive information about local institutions such as State University (subsequently known as Simmons College), the Western Branch of the Louisville Free Public Library, and the Louisville Negro Business League. There is also an address from Booker T. Washington, who was president of the organization at the time of this meeting.
