Snapshot photographs include group portraits, outdoor scenes, people posing in costumes, the riverfront, and a military gathering. One glass plate includes a signature “E.G. Barrow, 04” and another shows a house numbered 2107. Research concludes that these photographs were likely taken by Emerson G. Barrow, son of Anna C. Barrow, a music teacher, while they lived at 2107 W. Chestnut Street in the Russell neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky.
