Series I is divided into three sub-series, the George Brodschi correspondence, the correspondence of Natalia Brodschi and miscellaneous correspondence. Each is chronological. The George Brodschi material shows two distinct periods; one dealing with Brodschi's displacement and life following World War II, and a second folder, political in nature, which includes correspondence from a wide ranging group of political notables, such as Senator John Sherman Cooper, Nelson Rockefeller, Cyrus Vance, and Senator Hubert Humphrey.
