“My Fair Lady," 1963

 File — Box: 8, Folder: 22
Entire Series:

These materials reflect William Habich's work with the Louisville Theatrical Association, where he served as executive director beginning in 1963. He was also the "booker of programs" for the Brown Theatre (later known as The Macauley Theatre). Much of this material documents programs and plays, including visits by the National Repertory Theatre company, as well as Broadway plays. Materials include programs, reviews (newspaper clippings), tearsheets of advertisements, contracts, reports of income and expenses for individual productions, correspondence relating to productions, and press releases. Also included are organizational records of the Louisville Theatrical Association (LTA) itself, including meeting minutes, bylaws, budgets, and organizational charts, as well as clippings of newspaper stories about the LTA. This series also includes files relating to the Brown Theatre, which the LTA or the Performing Arts Associates leased/managed in the period covered by the Habich papers. Brown Theatre files include information on the 1962 renovation of the theater to accomodate stage productions.
