Microfilm of census rolls for the Louisville, Kentucky area, 1810-1880. In 1850 and 1860, enslaved individuals were recorded separately in what were called "slave schedules"; these microfilm reels includes these records for the area. The Archives holds slave schedules for 1850 (Gallatin, Garrard, Grant, Graves, Grayson, Green, Greenup, Hancock, Hardin, Harlan, Harrison, Hart, Henderson, Henry, Hickman, Hopkins and Jefferson Counties) and 1860 (Fulton, Gallatin, Garrard, Grant, Graves, Grayson, Green, Greenup, Hancock, Hardin, Harrison, Hart, Henderson, Henry, Hickman, Hopkins, Jackson, and Jefferson Counties). These microfilm copies were created by the National Archives and Records Service (now known as the National Archives and Records Administration, or NARA).
