This collection from the Blue Grass Cooperage Company of Brown-Forman Distillers Corporation consist of two bound copies of job analysis for all employees and one folder of black and white photographs. Written in 1948, the job analysis book includes detailed descriptions of every job in the company from Finishing Department foreman to janitors and food workers. Although pay rates are not included, basis of pay and routes of promotion and training are listed. The two books are identical in text, but one book has additional photos of company workers. Because of its tabs for easy access and generally ragged look, the book with the photos was probably the office copy while the other book was probably a reserve copy or the original. The folder of photographs includes 11 8x10s dating from the early 1970s. Most of these photos are of a safety service and company picnic.
The copyright interests in the Blue Grass Cooperage Company Records have not been transferred to the University of Louisville.
