Teka Ward's Notes on the History of Actors Theatre Louisville

Teka Ward, a graduate student in history pursuing her Masters Degree (1993), conducted 45 oral interviews on the creation of the Actors Theater in the 1960s and events within the company during the 1970s and 1980s. These interviews were conducted over a two year period and were with directors, board members, actors, stagehands, Theater critics and patrons. The tapes were turned over to the University of Louisville Archives in 1990. The material collected by Ms. Ward as background to and for her research is the subject of this accession.
