Biographical / Historical

Doe, formerly creative director for the J. Walter Thompson agency in New York, opened his independent firm in Louisville in 1915. Doe was a recognized and successful figure in the field of advertising and gained many of the leading firms in his region as clients. The firm, ultimately known as Doe-Anderson, is the seventh oldest continuously operating advertising agency in the United States.
