Athletics Department basketball films (Accession 1987_052)

Consists primarily of basketball film from the late 1950s to the late 1980s, although this group also contains two reels of film from a football game played in 1971. The films are not always clearly labeled, and are often undated, so it is possible that other film cans are mislabeled or misfiled. In addition, it is common for film from a particular game to be found distributed across several boxes. While the films were inventoried and sometimes reboxed when preparing for the move to high density storage, limited effort was made to "reunite" these films.
This material is located in remote storage. Requests to view these materials must be submitted by Wednesday at noon for records to be available for research the following week.
