The collection includes a photograph of an amateur baseball team; an interior office photograph from the 1920s; 1962 correspondence and miscellaneous items. Photographs showing Roger E. Schupp Drive at Bowman Field are also present.
Roger Schupp served as the first secretary of the Louisville Jefferson County Air Board. He was also secretary of the Louisville Parks Board, a leader in local amateur athletics, and a businessman.
Roger E. Schupp (1887-1968) worked for Mellwood Distillers, Kirkpatrick Coal Co., Sutcliffe Sporting Goods. He was secretary for the Louisville Parks Department, worked with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), and served as the first secretary of the Louisville and Jefferson County Air Board.
