The bulk of the photos are from 1957-1979 and show people, meetings and conventions, strikes, dinners and celebrations, golf outings and other activities as they relate to the operations of the Teamsters Local 89 union in Louisville, KY.

- Approximately 3500 rolls of 2¼ x 2¼ inch film (in sleeves), 1500 rolls of 35mm film (in sleeves).
- Approximately 400 8 x 10 inch black and white gelatin silver prints and 100 miscellaneous sized black and white and color snapshots.
Leslie H. Atterbury (1937-1984) was a vice president, assistant business agent, recording secretary, and photographer for the Teamsters Local 89 labor union. He was a Marine veteran of World War II, past patron of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 65 and a member of Masonic Lodge 951, Masonic Lodge 862, Scottish Rite, and Kosair Shrine. He took photos of and for Teamsters Local 89 labor union from the early 1950s to the early 1980s. Founded in 1933, the Teamsters Local 89 union hall is located at 3813 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY 40215.
