Frank Delano Moore papers

 Collection
Identifier: 2018_179

The papers of Frank D. Moore, educator and poet, include his published works, uncollected poems, correspondence, legal documents, and photographs. The collection also holds items from a memorial service held after his death. The correspondence files consist of personal letters, mostly to Moore's friend and fellow poet Carol Rainey, whom Moore named Executor of his Literary Estate. Printed emails document the posthumous publication of his works The Night Singer and The Cedar Chest. Literary files contain fragments of writings, published work, reviews of his work, and biographical notes. Other files hold newspaper clippings, family photographs, legal documents, printed ephemera, and an audio recording of his 2005 memorial service. The collection retains the original order and folder titles established by Carol Rainey.
