Materials submitted by University of Louisville student, Maria Martinez, as part of the Documenting Your Experience during the Covid-19 Outbreak project. On March 11, 2020, the University of Louisville adopted measures to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus, including moving classroom instruction online, limiting campus events, and allowing employees to work from home. Maria reflects on the shift from a busy college student who is juggling work, school, and extracurricular activities to a home-bound student with an overabundance of time. Maria also highlights some of the broader social issues that have emerged during the pandemic.
