The records of this society, founded in 1868, are complete. Consisting of minutes, correspondence, financial records, case reports and essays from 1868 to 1967. Well-known members included E.S. Gaillard, David Wendel Yandell, Henry A Cottel, Lewis S. McMurtry, Ap Morgan Vance, A.M. Cartledge, John A. Ochterlony, Louis Frank and Emmet F. Horine. The records include minutes, correspondence, financial reports, essays, case reports, a history of the society, and a calendar of correspondence.
