This collection contains indexed notes on lectures by Edwin S. Gaillard at Louisville Medical College, 1871-72, taken by Dr. Lewis. It also contains a Physicians Daily Pocket diary, 1879-1881, belonging to Dr. Lewis.
This ledger contains minutes of the Louisville Medical Club regular meetings and membership. Tulane University's medical library owns the original of this record. This copy was made from microfilm produced in 1947. It is illegible in parts and barely legible in others.
Photocopies and one original annual announcement from the Louisville National Medical College founded for African Americans in 1888 by W. A. Burney, R. Conrad, and Henry Fitzbutler, M.D. The school closed in 1912.

McCormack, M.D. (1872-1943), public health officer, and his wife, Jane Teare McCormack, document their careers in medicine and nursing, including information on their service in World War I service and the Kentucky State Health Department. Scrapbooks, Kentucky Medical Association journals, publications, manuscripts on public health issues, and records of the Kentucky Medical Association Auxiliary comprise this group.
This collection consists of two series--records of the purchase, restoration, and management of the Ephraim McDowell House in Danville, Kentucky, and photocopies, reprints, copies of photos, and original documents gathered during Dr Gray's research for The Life and Times of Ephraim McDowell, published in 1987.
