Included in these papers is the Bulletin of Delta Phi Alpha, a German honorary society, from 1940 to 1973, and several of Koester's articles. A report, "National Youth Administration, U of L," published in 1937 is also present. A copy of German in Action: Conversation and Composition (1952) was added in 2005.

A collection of scrapbooks, pledge manuals, photographs, paddles and other memorabilia from the Beta Beta (University of Louisville) chapter of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. The Beta Beta chapter was founded in 1947. Many of these materials were acquired in conjunction with the chapter's 50th anniversary, in 1997.
Betty Smith attended the University of Louisville in the 1930s and belonged to Pi Beta Phi sorority. These seventeen snapshots were found in a photograph album belonging to Smith by her daughter and donated to the University Archives and Records Center in May 2009. They are labeled and date from 1936 and 1937.
