This body of experimental data documents some of the research on cardiac output conducted by Moore and Kinsman. Graphs for individual patients and for animal subjects predominate, but the records also include drafts of articles on the injection method of studying circulation and a small amount of correspondence, some with co-worker Dr. William F. Hamilton.
The volume with Kirley’s notes has 181 pages, detailing Dr. John Arvid Ouchterlony’s 1874 lectures on asthma, Bright’s Disease, emphysema, gonorrheal rheumatism, heart disease, rheumatism, pneumonia and sciatica. The cases are identified by name. Dr. J.A. Ouchterlony taught at LMC in 1874, but he also held professorships at the University of Louisville Medical Department and KSM.
