This small body of reports and bulletins was gathered from multiple sources into an artificial collection. The most valuable item is a set of annual reports from 1873 to 1877. All of the rest date from 1960s, with the latest from 1967.
This collection consists of photocopies of records of the present day Eastern State Hospital. The records date from 1828 through 1872 and are arranged chronologically. They include letters to and from family members of patients, bonds, and commitment records. Also included are photocopied articles, gathered by Joan Titley Adams, former medical library director, for her articles on the instituion.
This collection contains administrative records from the project; bioqraphies of health professionals; information on schools of medicine, dentistry, nursinq, pharmacy, and public health in Kentucky; professional orqanizations and other societies; hospitals and related institutions; public health orqanizations; and miscellaneous health topics.
