The bulk of this collection consists of tapes of WDRB (Fox 41) television broadcasts of University of Louisville football and basketball games, 1992-1995. In addition, there are tapes of broadcasts, also from WDRB, of the Denny Crum Show, the Ron Cooper Show, the Howard Schnellenberger Show, and live call-in shows, 1990-1998. The tapes are a mixture of Beta and UMatic formats.

Scope and Contents This collection includes World War I servicemen's letters, newspaper clippings of the U of L Women's and Men's basketball games during the years the Butlers were playing, photographs, Charlotte's high school memorabilia, and items from U of L. Included are papers containing University of Louisville memorabilia collected by the Butlers, particularly Charlotte, who attended the University of Louisville from 1912 to 1917 and played on the women's basketball team. Content Description

The videotape contains twenty-two minutes of the 1953 Kentucky Invitational Tournament men's basketball game between Western Kentucky State College and the University of Louisville. The tape was created from film converted by Western Kentucky University in 2000. The game was played at the Armory (later the Gardens of Louisville).
