The Bill Gatton Highland Park Collection includes a town property ledger book (1890s); a 1982-1992 run of the Reporter; neighborhood association records,1980-1990s; and a large collection of personal photographs gathered from many sources, as well as historical documents and memorabilia relating to Highland Park. There are also files documenting opposition to airport expansion as well as documents from the Athletic Club of Highland Park from the 1940s.

These papers consist of clippings, reports, minutes, correspondence and reference materials related to a proposed merger of Louisville and Jefferson County. There are also materials on merger proposals dating from the 1950s and files related to downtown redevelopment.
