This collection is made up of photocopies of notes made by Bernard Asman as a student at the Kentucky School of Medicine (KSM) from 1895-1897. The instructors documented here are Profesors Marvin, Holloway, Rodman, Mathews, Wathen, Tuley, Orendorf, Coomes, and Hays. The notes cover lectures, labs, and clinical instruction.

Ennis was a member of Phi Chi faternity while in medical school, and there is material that documents that involvement. He graduated in 1909.

This small collection includes a student diary of life at UL (1853) and Jefferson College of Medicine, Philadelphia (1854). Most of the diary entries are from Philadelphia (November 1853 to March 1854) and describe lectures and cases as well as social activities and travel.The collection also includes: his parent’s birth and marriage dates, an obituary for Anna Roup Pusey, financial records,a black frock coat,diploma UofL 1853, diploma, Jefferson College of Medicine, 1854.
