This small collection (.10 linear foot) consists of her school records from Berea College, her Army Nurse Corps paperwork, some other World War I memorabilia, and her copies of the Kentucky State Board of Health Certificate of Birth from when she practiced midwifery. These materials were donated to the University of Louisville Archives and Records Center by her daughter, Mary Frances Meadows, in 2007. There is a short biography of Ethel Wilson Ewen in the donor file.

This collection includes Miss Robinson's notes on lectures, a list of her patients, photographs of the hospital, her graduating class, her friend Miss Shipman, a uniform, pins, a framed diploma, and other memorabilia.

Scope and Contents This bulk of the artifacts and personal papers document her nurse's training and her World War I service. Her uniform is accompanied by all of the accessories, insignias, and is in good condition. Lecture notes and official correspondence from the U.S. Army and the American Red Cross comprise the bulk of the textual material. Contained in this collection are photographs, studies, clippings, histories, brochures, and a small amount of correspondence about this nonprofit organization that providing healthcare and education in the homes of convalescents and the chronically ill. Some microfilmed annual reports are included.
