Most of the diary entries are from Philadelphia (November 1853 to March 1854) and describe lectures and cases as well as social activities and travel.The collection also includes: his parent’s birth and marriage dates, an obituary for Anna Roup Pusey, financial records,a black frock coat,diploma UofL 1853, diploma, Jefferson College of Medicine, 1854.
This collection consists of a silver medal won by Charles Sauter, M.D. for Anatomy at Louisville Medical College on February 28, 1870.
Donated in 1992 by the Dr. Neal McKee Woods’ grandson, Frank M. McClain, this collection consists of fourteen cartes de visite of young men who attended medical school in Louisville, Kentucky around 1876. The photographs, produced by three different identified Louisville studios (two photographs have no studio name). The collection does not include a photo of Neal McKee Woods.
