Scope and Contents This collection consists of a case of instruments were presented to Dr. J. Henry Chenoweth by Dr. Samuel D. Gross, who was then Professor of Surgery at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, but had formerly served as Professor of Surgery at the Louisville Medical Institute from 1841-1854.
