Jacob Landau papers

Content Description These papers contain letters and clippings to and about Jacob Landau from Neville Miller, former U of L law school dean and Louisville mayor, as well as Landau's family reminiscences, obituaries of acquaintances, and a reminiscence of prostitution during his childhood in the west downtown Louisville neighborhood. The Oral History Center in the University Archives and Records Center also holds an interview with Mr. Landau.

The bulk of the collection relates to the issue of desegregation and busing of the Louisville/Jefferson County School System. Due to the small size of the collection, it was not organized by series.
