Content Description Snapshots, most taken - presumably by Louis Holmes - during the 1940s. The images document Holmes' experiences as a student at the University of Louisville during World War II, and his time at the University's Dental School following the war. Some of the Dental School-related images were used in the Thoroughbred, the UofL yearbook, in 1949.

Brief description of the collection This collection contains clippings, memorabilia, course notes, programs and correspondence, and the unpublished writings of Mariam Houchens. Also included in this collection is material from the University of Louisville Women's Club, which contains correspondence, interest groups documents, memo edition, and miscellaneous newsletters. Copies of her diaries (in seven volumes), transcribed by her son David, are also included in this collection. A digital version is also available.

This collection reflects Howe's teaching methods in his specialty of ancient history. It includes syllabi, class handouts, student examinations, and term papers. Brief Description of the Collection The papers of Harlan and Anna Eikenhout Hubbard make up a 34.75 linear foot collection dating from approximately 1903 to 1987. The major series in the collection are those of correspondence, journals, literary production, artwork, and Anna Hubbard's papers. There are 7.5 linear feet of correspondence, mainly incoming, which gives examples of the wide variety of friends and acquaintances of the Hubbards.
