Pulp magazines offered science fiction, fantasy, crime and adventure printed on cheap pulp paper from the late 19th century well into the 20th. While their contents and quality of writing ranged widely, nearly all pulp magazines shared the feature of colorful, often sensational or lurid, cover art.
