The Ekstrom papers deal with various state and national organizations, course material, tests, exams, University of Louisville freshmen rhetoric books, and grade books. Included in Ekstrom's papers are term papers entitled "A papers." Also included are family correspondence, scrapbooks, manuscripts, clippings relating to Ekstrom's early life and to his career at the University of Louisville. His typescript memoir provides a detailed and frank account of his years with the university from 1947 to 1982.
