The personal papers of M. Louise Galloway (1921-1980), Professor of Library Science and Circulation and Multimedia Librarian at U of L (1961-1980). The records are the files created by Professor Galloway as a member of several professional organizations including the U of L chapter of the AAUP, the Kentucky Library Association, the Southeastern Library Association, and the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries. Also included is material dealing with her work as a consultant to the University of Kentucky and Colliers Enclyclopedia and as a teacher of U.K. extension courses in Library Sciences at Jefferson Community College. The papers also include a copy of her Masters thesis and dissertation.
The copyright interests in the Mabel Louise Galloway Papers have not been transferred to the University of Louisville.
