One issue (volume 1, number 1) of Greater Louisville Home Magazine, "published in the interest of the News Boys' Home." Consists primarily of photographs and other images, along with narrative characterizations of Louisville, sometimes in comparison to London. Includes a sketch of 4th Street of the future, featuring airships (literally ships lifted by balloons). The remainder of the issue consists of features of unknown origin and the program (including some song lyrics) from a benefit "Carnival of Musical Romances." This publication contains many pages of advertisements for local businesses, as well. The Newsboys' Home offered lodging, clothing, bathrooms, and a library to children who sold newspapers, shined shoes, etc. in the streets of Louisville.
