Records of the Kentucky Alliance against Racist & Political Oppression, including newsletters, programs from their annual Unity Dinner and other events. Includes posters and a banner from Citizens Against Police Abuse (CAPA), which was a coalition of more than 30 civil rights and religious organizations, including the Kentucky Alliance against Racist and Political Repression, the Jefferson County chapter of Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, the ACLU of Kentucky, the Fairness Campaign, and the Justice Resource Center, that focused on police misconduct. The Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Oppression works to fight racism in Louisville by taking visible action against racist acts and situations. They work with other community groups and are part of the National Alliance Against Racist & Political Repression.
