Biographical / Historical

Fred Koster won sixteen varsity letters in football, basketball, baseball, and track. He earned his L.L.B. degree from the University of Louisville in 1931. During the 1930s he played professional baseball in Akron, Ohio, Little Rock, Ark., Philadelphia, and St. Paul. He was later a partner in the Koster-Swope Buick automobile dealership in Louisville.
