Omicron Delta Kappa was founded December 3, 1914 at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. The University of Louisville charter was installed May 14, 1943. It is a national leadership honor society that promotes exemplary character, responsible leadership, service to campus or the community, superior scholarship, fellowship, and consecration of democratic ideals.
