Biographical / Historical

Robert L. Heston was born in Virginia, the son of Silas and Mary Martha Heston. He was an 1857 graduate of the Kentucky School of Medicine, and served in the 27th Kentucky Infantry during the Civil War. He practiced medicine in Grayson County most of his professional life. His cousin (?) Silas Heston, also graduated from KSM in 1859.
