These scripts and screenplays, many by African American writers and a number unpublished, have been collected over the course of her career and donated to the University of Louisville by actress and producer Hattie Winston. Hattie Winston established the collection in 1998 to support the work of Lundeanna Thomas and the African American Theatre Program at the University of Louisville. Among writers represented in the collection are Alice Childress, Paul Harrison Carter, Ntozake Shange, and Naomi Carrier.
